Jalupro is composed of amino acids and hyaluronic acid. This mixture stimulates your own body to increase its own collagen and elastin production and moisturises the skin to improve its overall skin quality, turning back the years.

The clinic offers the following areas to be treated: face, neck, decollete, hands, abdomen and knee region.

The effects can be seen from 1-14 days reaching full effect at 4 weeks. It is recommended to have 2-3 treatments, 2-4 weeks apart for best results.

6 months from a single treatment. Between 1 and 3 treatments are recommended for the desired effect - spaced at least 2-4 weeks apart.

Courses of Jalupro are required for best results. Most require between 2-3 treatments for the desired effect. Further treatments can be repeated 3-4 times per year. There is no risk of accumulation. A single treatment can last up to 6 months.

Administering the treatment can sometimes cause bruising, swelling and some redness. However, these normally settle between 1 to 7 days.

The Jalupro is a safe aesthetic injectable product that is CE approved. The product works by using naturally occurring products found in your body- hyaluronic acid and amino acids. It is not produced from animals.

Jalupro cannot be used where clients present with the following: pregnancy / breastfeeding, infection or inflammation over the area to be treated
and hypersensitivity to the products contents.

Most of our treatments include injections to the skin. Whenever the skin is punctured there's a risk of bruising and swelling. Our practitioners are highly skilled and do their clinical best to ensure veins are avoided, though it's impossible to avoid all underlying structures of the skin.

It's our advice to time your treatments, to avoid any special occasions within a 14-day period of a procedure. This should ensure that any residual bruising or swelling, if experienced, has subsided following your injection treatments.

1. One week prior to your treatment, avoid taking aspirin, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications e.g Ibuprofen, Gingko Biloba, Vitamin E and fish oil supplements. These may increase bruising and bleeding at the injection site. Remember, it's important to check with your Doctor if you have an existing condition that requires you to take blood-thinners before you stop taking regular prescribed medication.

2. Adding leafy greens to your diet will boost your Vitamin K levels and help to reduce the possibility of bruising and swelling.

3. Arnica supplements have been shown to reduce discomfort, bruising, and swelling from injectable procedures. Arnica pills may be started the day before or the day of treatment and should be continued until bruising has resolved.

4. On the day, it's advisable to avoid working out or going to the gym ahead of your appointment as flushed skin can lead to more bruising due to the amount of blood at the skin's surface.

5. Please arrive without make-up as your skin will need to be clean at the injection site(s) to limit the possibility of infection post treatment.

You should also not consume any alcohol for at least 24 hours before your appointment to avoid increased bruising and swelling.

To ensure safe practice we don't treat clients for any of our injectable treatments 2 weeks before a COVID-19 vaccine and 2 weeks post vaccine.

Cosmetic treatment experts and industry bodies have issued guidelines for dermal fillers after a few cases of swelling that were related to dermal fillers and the COVID-19 vaccination. The advice is that it is best to leave a 2 week interval before having dermal fillers and 2 weeks after in order to minimise the risks of post-inflammatory swelling or reaction.
